Found an old...very old...switzer boat. Looks like it's from the 50's to me.

The hull design is very flat and smooth across the whole belly....has two small "tubes" on both ends....

Is this an old race boat? I don't know how safe this hull design is...I'm so use to seeing a V in there and especially down the middle towards the back......

Transom is busted....at first I thought it was cracked now I'm thinking it's made that way so it can be replaced... One of the fins is split...and there is some black tar looking stuff on it in a couple of places that I think they tried to patch the boat up with. It has a LONG shaft Japanese(#&$#^)mariner on it...I think I could barter fixing the motor for the boat.

pictures:

trying to figure out if I want the project, or if it is even feasable to try and resto this one. It looks rough.

Unless the engine runs I wouldn't bother.
Even so, the hull looks like its a gonner.
