Hi everyone,
I have a very old honda BF75 (the 7.5 HP, not the 75hp) and my fuel line connectors finally bit the dust.
I was looking for a new line and everyone seems to be saying that they just don't make those old Honda fittings anymore and recommended changing the connectors on the actual outboard to something more modern. However, they also said a lot of things like "those connectors have the two dots/balls on them." My connectors look an awful lot like more standard mercury connectors and not really like the old honda ones I see online, so maybe a PO did the swap already?
So I have two questions Can someone take a look at my connector (photo attached) and help me figure out if these are old honda connectors or something more modern? Happy to take measurements or anything that would help with identification. And then, if they are the old honda ones, is it worth swapping them out.... ie how hard of a job is this?
Thank you all
