This really sucks, I’ve known him for probably 22 years and this is where life is now he just got over a brain aneurysm surgery like four or five months ago New Zealand “
My buddy Ross that I’ve known forever and New Zealand to have brain surgery like four years or four months ago and he was OK and this happened. He’s a really really great friend of mine that I’ve known for about 23 years and then this has to pop up.”Things are not so good at present, my chemo has failed so they’re starting me on stronger drugs next week.
Plus my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery yesterday. I’m nursing her at home with family support.
**** happens eh….”

It seems like the powers that be have setup the world so we dont HAVE time to stop and smell the roses, sorry for putting on my tin hat.

But what im saying is, i often lay in bed and have the realization life is moving to fast and i need to slow down and enjoy it and the people around me more. easier said then done.

I know this may not sit well with some, but at least you get some 'notice' and use that time effectively.

yup - my buddy was telling me how much he enjoys my pics and videos of my Texas life, truck, car, dogs, fishing, guns, kids, grandkids - I dont ask anymore if he quit smoking, he had at least 3 heart attacks in the past, and knows I quit cold turkey 1.5 packs a day (finally - at least a dozen tries) , so I try to keep it light , glad I could retire at 50, took me awhile to get used to it ;) - doing more stuff NOW, plenty of phone calls video calls to old buddies etc
