I need help identifying an old motor that belonged to my uncle. Probably hasn't been started in 30 years, but turns easily. Think it might be a Firestone 10-A-1 but there is no id plate on it. I uses a wrap around rope pull for starting. Any information will be appreciated. Also, where to find a manual. Gas tank has a crack, but I remember my uncle starting it in his garage the last time. I want to try to get it running.

Welcome to the form. The members here are great and should be able to help you with that old beauty. Good luck!

you are missing 2 more numbers at the end. Up till 59 they were made by Scott Atwater and last couple years by West Bend. I restored the one in my profile pic and I sent you a private message

There is no id plate on it. I'm 75 and I remember my uncle taking us fishing with it when I was probably 8-10 yrs old

I see you are in Ellaville. I'm only 45 miles away, between Perry and Hawkinsville
