Old Evinrude New to Me ID PLEASE

Just got new outboard runs great but cant find any info on model or serial. Model # on tag is AM-155A Serial # is R 08181841. Evinrude Super V6. Any and all info is greatly appreciated

I can't find it either, but I suspect it is a military outboard. Example: AM 35A is a 35hp military.
