Old Baretta

Hey guys, new to the board, just pulled my gfs Baretta out of the barn to work on. Its got a brand new 350 in it. Only problem is none of the wiring is hooked up and we don't even know if the outdrive works. Also one side of the engine is partially torn apart(i.e valve covers off, water jacket is off and some other things) I can work on motors, but I've never worked before on a boat motor. Can anyone give me a wiring schematic or diagram so I can hook it up right the first time? I have no idea of the year but it says Baretta on the side and its got a Mercruiser outdrive. Im guessin the year early 90s or so. Thanks

Not enough info there to go on Zack, Look for a plate over the starter motor with a serial number for the engine. Then we will at least know what to look at.
