Old 15 hp Mariner cannot find serial anywhere

Hi I have a old 15 hp mariner that I cannot find serial on anywhere because it is camo does anyone know how I can tell what year it is or where I can find the serial at else where.

Is there a scratch on the skeg? Someone stole one from me just like that with a lil scratch on the skeg. Post a pic an ill tell you if thats it or not . Kidding aside there are some great old men here that could get you an era with a picture

I would like to post pics but I have to post 3 things I think before I can upload pictures I just removed lower unit and the impellor is destroyed and just trying to find what year it is so I can order replacement and has several scratches on the skeg so it may be yours henlyhale LOL.....
