I remember that this was asked before, but can't for the life of me remember what this is called, or find it on iboats. It's for installing a boat cover flexible bow...

And what's the name of this little devil?......

The first one is a bow socket. Pronounced like bow an arrow.

Second I don't know if it has a name but I wish I had 2 to put on my Jet.

The bow sockets (I removed 4 ;)) from my boat are used for the cover...... (pm me) and the other piece as actually available at tractor supply by the tractor parts..... it protects hoses or wires from abrading on sharp metal edges.

Thanks DJ. I figured out "grommet" in my search but didn't find that item. My holes are 2-1/2" though, I may re-use my old ones, although one is chipped. I did see some 2-1/2" elsewhere, but didn't like the design too much.
