Actually, they do better than human drivers in slick conditions. Any $100K car today has traction control, even the most expensive sports cars that do 180+.

I dare yas to bring up one of dem der fancy cars here in winter conditions, and do 55+!!!:D

Those UK top gear guys would get their perverbial butts kicked if they tried those speeds on these roads in winter conditions.

My traction control is a locking center and rear differential. And they came stock!

My vote is no for the robot cars. I'd much rather see a special high speed driving lane (autobahn) that requires an extra license to use to keep the self proclaimed 'professional' driver out.
