oil light and alarm

i have a 95 135 black max 2 stroke engine. ive had it in the water this year 7 times and this has only happened 3 times when running down the lake or river after running for about 15 min the low oil light comes on and a loud steady alarm sounds i turn the motor off for a few seconds and its gone and doesnt come back. Wht could that be. Should i be worried?

Not sure on the 95 Blackmax, but older has a oil warning module.

Possible oil-warning module fault, these units has a bad habit to corrode inside.

Do you have the "beeeeeeep-beep-beep" when turning the ignition on? (Confirms that oil warning module circuit is ok)
