oil leak

i have a 2007 q6 tahoe 4.3 engine and i am getting an oil leak there is a plastic tube (hose) connected to the oil pan on side and going under neath to the back of the boat does anyone know what this is for is it for draining the oil it looks like it is coming from the pan some where any advice would be appreciated thanks:

I have the same set up on my '05 Q6. It is there so you can drain your oil from the back of the boat without having to get under the motor to do it. There should be a leader on the brass fitting attached to the black hose that you pull through the back end behind the brass fitting. Check there for leaks once you pull it out. If not you may need to take it in to see if you have an actual pan gasket leak.
