Had boat sold to me so cheap it was almost free runs great but water keeps getting in the oil no trouble starting

only noticed the oil because it was seeping out of valve cover gasket how do I determine if it is the cam seals I hear about or something else wanting to fix not get rid of runs great other than this which can not
be allowed to continue

cam seals would leak from the "tell-tale" hole in the cover. More likely it was overheated and popped a head gasket

looks like somebody has already been into the water pump with a lot of red sealant the other picture shows lower bolt never tightened and sticking out about a half inch
if it is the head gasket how major ordeal is it

head gasket is easy. get the mercruiser head gasket, its the only one that works.

100-105psi is low.
