Yeah I'm new to this just pulled off my out drive and I see oil in my bellows. I'm guessing that's not a good thing?

That must be outdrive oil in the bellows, you need to replace input shaft seal. I'd try get it pressure/vacuum tested after seal replacement, so you know its good.

You'll need bellows adhesive to reinstall drive. I don't think you can get engine oil in the bellows, (well the exhuast bellows you could)

Re: Oil in my bellows

Thanks for the info. The bellows all look pretty good, but at this point should I change them or at least the main bellows? Not sure if the oil sitting in there may shorten the life of the rubber? Will I need special tools? Thanks!
