What type of oil (company also) should I buy for a 1999 evinrude 5hp 4 stroke.. Engine oil and gear oil..

i run on yamalube engine oil, lower unit also run or yamalube gear oil

Normally the engine manufacturer will specify a FC-W (Four Cycle- Watercooled) 4 cycle oil. This is a special marine-grade multi-vis oil. Gear oil is usually any marine gear oil for mechanical shift motors.

Ususally these are avail at a Wallyworld, and certainely at a dealer.
