I posted a problem on this bulliten board a week ago. I never got any responce or anything! I found another disscussion board with great people who responded within just a day or two and helped me greatly! They have helped more people than i bet have ever seen this site! I have tried getting on the iboats chat for a week and never found anyone else there!!! if anyone else would like the address to this other board then just email me at robert.w.turner@usa.net

I have nothing to do with it, I can't have an opinion of what boat and engine can be worth (I live in Sweden). BUT there is something wrong here:<br />1. You did get a long and really decent answer and did not reply on that with more info or anything. <br />2. What-is-it-worth-questions are hard to answer by a short description. It's hard even if you can see it or after a test drive.<br />3. People don't work here. People share what the know and does it for free. If that is'nt enough for you, does that mean people don't know enough or try hard enough around here? Everyone is free to have their opinion or solution of a problem. Very often that lead to more time fishing and boating than hanging around the shop. <br />4. I'm glad you got help somewere else (true). I don't care where that is. This forum is good enough for me, even if I do know there is a lot of other friendly people around the world who wants to help others for free.<br /><br />I really enjoy reading almost every post here. I learn a lot and I try to contribute when I can. I don't want it to change. I can't discuss boats and engines with my kids, friends or family. I do that on different forums. I know how it works and the rules. You do not, therefore I defend it. People comes and goes without posting this kind of crap. Why did you? Shall we feel bad? <br />Did you want to help others who can't get an answer here? Please post the link to this other forum for them. Maybe someone want to see your question and read how you got help and how nice you replied there?<br /><br />I am sorry for posting this but I just had to. I know you didn't ask me. Don't take it personally Wessell, that's just the way it goes. Nobody here HAS to answer your post. <br />But if they feel they can help you and are inclined/informed enough to respond to your post they are free to do so. OK so you went somewhere else to find the information. Good for you! Don't be sore just share the info/link from this other great Board you found with the rest of us.

Goes to show you the old saying is true. You can please some of the people some of the time, but can never please all the people all the time! I'm fairly new to this board, but I find it very informative. On some of the other boards I found a lot of bickering and product bashing - I don't see it as frequently here. Everyone here seems to respect the product choice of others. About you not finding your answer on this board - well, I've been to other boards and found the same problem. I don't feel any board has all the answers at a given time. It's like the other guys before said - we're just a bunch of guys trying to help out our fellow man (or woman). Most of us do not profess to be experts or technical genius's, but we give it our best shot. I don't know what your specific question was, but I guess at the time you proposed it no one felt they were knowledgeable enough to give you the answer you needed, or maybe your question did not have enough facts or details. Sorry about the rambling - I guess I just sort of take it personal when someone comes on the board and bashes everyone because he did not get the answer he was seeking. Well, I still did not help Wessell - but I feel better anyway.

Duh.....! Thanks foul plug for letting me know the weller's post was so old - now I feel like a idiot. Okay, I'm over it now. I guess **** lured me in. I guess I should pay more attention to the dates in the future.

Oops! I guess it was wessell instead of weller and fouled plug instead of foul plug (sorry fouled plug). Obviously you can tell how great I am with names. Question: How come astriks (****) show up when you use that body parts sign-on handle? Is that considered a dirty wordy?

Well myself I feel like these people at this bb have been very helpfull! And informative with other peoples issues.
