Re: oh no,help

I think I would try some double sided tape on the end of a long bent wire.

However, now I want to know what happens after you fire it up!

no capt Jason,
I did it last year just before fall, figured I wouldn't worry about it till spring, spring is close (even though we got 18"
of snow in the last 2 days) some day the water may not be STIFF.
will trust Mr.Don S and Mr. Bondo and just run it.

...And next time you use one of those stupid tubes for fogging, what you do it take a piece of duct tape and make it into a 'wing' about 4 inches long and about an inch wide, and put it on the tube, that way if it flies off, it can't get into any small spaces....

Get a tool called "mechancal fingers", it is a long tube type thing with a knob on the top. When you press the knob, a set of 3 fingers extend from the tip, opening up. As you release the knob, the fingers close up as they retract, grabbing whatever you are trying to get.

This tool should grab the tube after a few tries. They have got me out of a lot of pickles!

The fingers will fit just fine. It just isn't effective. The major problem is the Manifold is on the way. You cannot see what your doing or trying to do. You cannot hardly get any tool in there to work or to work with.

woosterken Gotch ya. My manifold was in the way, Manifold on both sides on a 4.3 at least on the bank and in the way where I was trying too work. I was thinking his was a 4.3 too. I couldn't even see the spark plug hole on mine hardly. Sorry you are correct. I went back and checked his original post. :D

Oh Gawd, just start it.
Even if it doesn't come out, it will melt, and blow out in pieces.

Yeah, it's talked to death with the theory of how to extract it through the spark plug hole.
Fire it up!
