Least favorite is either Charlie or Clare. Neither are getting the air time they did last year, thank goodness. <br /><br />I'd have a hard time picking my favorite, it changes depending on the episode.

What is the book "Turn Of The Screw" about? Any significance?<br /><br />Did you all see the book I mentioned earlier? Desmond had to move "The Third Policeman" out of his way when he was gathering supplies to leave.

OK, finally got to watch the episode last night...<br /><br />

Anyone notice on the promo for next weeks show the Korean guy seemed to be speaking fluent english?

YES! I actually hollered out when I saw that -- WTF is that all about?!!?<br /><br />

Does anyone besides myself enjoy watching LOST a little more since Sean started this post.

I know I'm enjoying it a bit more. <br /><br /><br />As for my take on the last episode - first, it was MUCH better than the previous episode. I agree with Zmoz, I think I would have pressed the button as well... Only, I am with Jack on the skepticism. When Lock said he had to watch that movie again, I was like -- what the heck, the movie did nothing but support the idea that this "numbers" thing is just a load of bull. Although there are some things I'm wondering about. <br /><br />First, what is with the bottles of meds he was injecting into himself?<br /><br />Next, there was an AWFUL lot of those hash marks on the wall --- and looking at the food store, there isn't enough food there for someone who's been there for 25 years.<br /><br />Here's an interesting one for you. I found this being discussed on another website. Someone did an overlay of the womans face that was in the picture frame with Desmond (the aussie in the underground bunker) and compared it with the woman on the boat that kidnapped Walt.... Notice anything peculiar?<br /><br />

<br /><br /><br />As for my favorite character, I'm thinking I'm going to have to go with Hurley. That guy is hilarius and I hope they don't cut him out of the plotline. He's adding a dynamic to the show that noone else is providing - humor.<br /><br />Sean

I agree, I like Hurley a lot. I laughed out loud when he came across the food pantry. I hope most episodes are as good as the last one because I'm really looking forward to watching tonight's episode. The meds -- I wonder if those are just a placebo to make Desond think there really is a virus out there that's getting people sick. Seem's like part of the island could be an experiment, but there's a whole lot of other stuff going on that's not of this world as we know it.<br /><br />Hope y'all get to watch tonight!

Somewhat disappointed from last week. It seems the revelations and disclosures slowed down tonight and the show began to creep along.

Is their plan just to keep making up crazy mysteries and hope we forgot about the last ones they ran out of story lines for? What is it that "happened" to Hurly he didn't want to let happen again? His friend was mad at him because he won the lottery? <br /><br />I'm disappointed to see more actors I recognize...

Yeah, bit of a rollercoaster of highs and lows. I kinda feel disappointed that the promo for this week (Jin talking in English) -- made everyone basically say, what the... I gotta watch this episode! Well, the part of Jin talking in English didn't mean much in this episode. It had minute ramifications on this rest of the story. I'd like to get off the fence on my opinion of this show, but they aren't letting me. Funny how different my tone is between my last post and this one. Oh well.

Watched my first episode last night... What is that about!?<br /><br />Some obese guy wants to dynamite what appears to be their only food source. Everyone is talking about pushing a button every 108 minutes. There appears to be two different groups of survivors on the same island?<br /><br />What a weird show.... kinda like Twin Peaks, anyone else remember watching that show and thinking what the....?

LOL AZ - you gotta go rent the first season. There is noooooo way you can pick up on this show now. Its weird like that - very weird. I can understand your WTF opinion of the show <br /><br />Hmmm about this episode, I see it as another episode really. I'm a bit concerned about the fact that there were 23 people who survived in the tail section of the plane but as of right now, theres like 5 in that room.<br /><br />I'm also a bit concerned about the "Johnny come lately" attitude of the "famous actors" on this show. The arrival of known people is a bit concerning myself.

They probably have a much bigger budget this year, allowing them to hire "better" actors. The first thing I thought when I saw the lady that was in the back of the plane (don't know her name) was "oh look, an actress was on the plane".<br /><br />Another thing - why is the lady from the back of the plane that was thrown into the pit with the others such a *****? Even after they "made friends" she was still pointing the gun at them and throwing a hissy fit when they talked.

i theorize that the tailies are actually living in the area that Sayid was trying to break through to. And I agree with him about the Chernoble similarity. So I suspect that the "incident" referred to an the film actually is making the other people sick. And/or crazy.<br />Could anyone tell if the Dharma Initiative logo on the wall where the tailies are living was actually the Swan? It looked a little different to me.<br />Wasn't an action packed episide, but I think it was laying serious groundwork.

As far as "famous" actors, none of them have been "famous" to anyone who doesn't watch a ton of TV, so I have no problem. And in the first season you had the liquid metal Terminator. SO now, we have Michelle Rodriguez, I can't tell you another thing she's been in. Oh and the guy from OZ, which I have never seen, cause it's on HBO. Vast majority of the country has never seen him or heard of him. Oh unless you mean Mike Seaver's nemisis principal from "Growing Pains", Sam Anderson.<br />And in the original cast, you have Dominic Monaghan, well all Lord Of the Rings fans knew him. And MAtthew Fox is "well" known. So it wasn't all nobodies.

Well Darhma Initiative was studying electromagnetic on the island and the concrete is covering a giant electromagnetic field( see the necklace on Jack neck raised up off his chest?) generated by some source of nuclear device and if the code is not executes at a precise time interval, a melt down occur.???? Oh yeah, Rodriguez was in Squats, Fast and Furious and a couple of others movies, normally she plays the tough chick role. Hurley friend was in Road Trip ( you've gotta see this one, really funny) The Core and a movie about Southern hip-hop culture just came out not too long ago.

Unless they bring in some big name person to replace, say, Jack, Kate or John... then I'll be upset! Also, I like your theory that Saiyed is hitting on a wall opposite the other people...
