# of Spark Plug Fires per Revolution?

I bought an ENM tachometer and in order to set it up I have to tell it whether the spark plug fires twice per revolution, once per revolution, or once every other revolution. I should probably know this or be able to figure it out after hooking it up to the engine but I'm sure somebody has an answer to this question. I have a 1985 30 hp.

All two cycle engines (yours included) fires with every revolution.

Agree with Joe for single cylinder, but you need to multiply that by the number of cylinders. Two cylinders, two sparks per revolution, six cylinders, six sparks per revolution.
