I have a 17 foot Starcraft with a 65 Suzuk and a side kicker. Can't miss the boat because I put a new coat of paint on her and added some side murals. One side is an American Eagle with our flag flowing out the back and the other side has a Muskie with a lure in its mouth with the American Flag flowing out it. As you can tell I'm a Vet and proud to be an American. My son is 26 and between college and getting married this will be our first get together in five years.

Sounds like a sharp paint job you got there! It's good to hear you get to spend some quality time with your son after so long. I was wondering your age and now I have a good idea with a 26 yr old son. I'm your son's age, but have many buddies that are in there 40's, a few will be joining me on the trip. Alway's liked hanging out with the older crowd, I contribute my success in life to that. I was able to learn the easy way because I had older buddies that learned the hard way. It's like the saying "wisdom comes with age". You stand to learn so much more hanging out with the older crowd.

With age comes wisdom,experience and somtimes common sense. Some of us older taters are still working on the common sense thing. Ain't that right JB. Can you remember that far back? Thanks for the compliment 495v, I'm not as old as dirt but getting closer. Being a new member whats with the King thing or should I ask.

The king thing was just a compliment for the poster's on this site that contribute and help people everyday, JB being one of them. Some young kid was puttin' JB down and nobody was gonna stand for that. I think the thread was titled how to get engine help or something to that effect. I was just trying to make a point to the young one. Poster's like JB and 12footer, just to name a few are really the backbone to this great forum. If it wasn't for these informative gent's we would just be a bunch of fisherman telling lies, I mean stories online, complaining that are boats are broke.

495V JB was one of the first members to respond to me. When I found out he dips in the same lakes I do when I go up North I knew he was tops.
