non-VRO fuel pump swap for Johnson 115 v4 Ocean Runner

Hi all, I have a 1991 Scout Sportfish 172 center console with a Johnson 115 v4 two stroke Ocean Runner outboard that I've been fixing up. I purchased it with the VRO already deleted, but still utilizing the OEM fuel pump. Yesterday I replaced all of the old hoses and when I was reinstalling the pump, I broke the top nozzle off as seen in the photo. Seeing as how the oil and gas are pre-mixed, can I use one of those simple $30 non-VRO fuel pumps? Every video I've seen on how to swap has the pump located on the port side of the motor, not in the under centered mounting location, but I'm sure I could figure a bracket out. The only problem is I don't really know what each hoses' purpose was when I pulled them, just where they connected back to the OEM pump. Is the swap to the simple non-VRO pump simple or is there some major thing I'm overlooking? And would I need a 2 or 3 nozzle one? TIA!

Thank you. I ordered one that fits and looks similar off Amazon but have read they should not be relied on. The bottom nipple is also straight up and down and when the hose is connected, it's bent pretty badly. The OEM one has an elbow nipple that's even offset from center which fits way better. As for the engine, I have no idea - the serial number plate is gone and the bolt stamp is "G3941125" which apparently doesn't exist. I know the original Scout Sportfish 172 would've come with a 90hp so this was an upgrade and I think I've narrowed the year make to 1995 - 1997. I'm in Savannah GA.

I also don't want to repair the VRO - I like mixing the gas with the oil and it's one less thing to think about. I just don't know what the guy did before me to "delete the VRO system" and which hoses are still in use vs. which are essentially useless now. I made this rough diagram to help me match the hoses back, but I'm not certain which ones do what. I made the 3 nipples red, green and blue to stand out. Not sure if it's helpful or not.

Go with that pump in the picture.----Fairly easy to figure out the hoses.----Fuel in is the black nipple.----Fuel out is the brass nipple to the left.

this is the one I was actually looking at, Evinrude Johnson #438559. This isn't "double stack" as you mentioned, right?

For aftermarket mixed fuel only pumps, would it be safer to direct them to maxrules website instead of an E-Bay posting since the aftermarket fuel pump offerings are rather small and usually counterfeit garbage?

I could see if it was the OEM fuel pump being asked about in not competing against iBoats online store.

Too many of those terribly made Chinese made ones with abysmal quality. Not everything from China is bad quality but the issue is there's no real incentive for distinguishing certain makers versus others there.

is this a good option or is it a "double stack" no good option as mentioned by Faztbullet?

That allows you to use the existing fuel fittings. Why do you think you need the double pump.

I don't think that, I'm just saying @Faztbullet said none of his customers have had success with "double stack" pumps. I have no idea what double stack means tbh

That is the 2 pumps out together. The one I showed you is a single pump

On the " double stack " the PRESSURE chambers are fed by one port.------On a motor like that I would install a fuel pump off a 66 model 100 HP.----Can pump plenty of fuel.
