Since there is a wee bit of alcohol still in the N/As, did you calculate how much alcohol you actually consumed too?

no because some has a wee but some has 0.05 and i mix up the fake stuff brands all the time sometimes i'll have four different kinds in a day.

worst is if i do a whole 12 i end up about half beer for the day. I prob soak that much in with my mouthwash.

FWIW…that wee bit of alcohol (0.05%) turns out to be 0.008 oz compared to 0.72 oz in a 4.5%, 16 oz beer….a “shot” is 1.5 oz

There's more trace alcohol in bread and overripe fruit than in an NA beer.

Twas but a joke.

My fresh pressed cider I get from the orchard ferments to a higher ABV too... I've gotten up to 2% via gravity.

Press them full skin and put a burper in it. The natural yeast on the outside will ferment it. Takes a month or two in the fridge.

Just an enlightening side bar...

By law....
"NA" beer up to 0.5%
"Non Alcoholic" beer 0.03 to 0.05%

7.5, NA (0.5%) beers = 1 shot of 80 proof whiskey
75, Non Alcoholic (0.05%) beers = 1 shot of 80 proof whiskey

The only time I tried (meaning put more effort into it then just letting it ferment freely) to make a hard cider they were a wee bit too strong... about 12% abv. Was more like a carbonated apple wine. They went down like water around the bon fire but I drank about 12 way too fast. Haven't made them since. I cut the remaining ones in half with some fresh cider when drinking, that worked well.

The orchard I purchase my cider from presses it in such a way it tastes like you're drinking a whole liquid apple. For someone who loves apples like I do, it's awesome base for a good beer.

I actually didn't know they made a distinction. The only limit I was familiar with was the 0.5%. Had a friend who for medical reasons i can't recall, had to be really careful about it.
