Just installed 2 used Force 120 HP Ser # OE 279559 and OE 195023 from 1996 and 1997. Old motors were Force 125 from 1988.
I reversed conn. on throttle control for throttle. Bought and ran new wiring harnesses. Hooked up neutral safety switch. Blk and blk/yel off back of new ignition switch together to bypass lanyard. Didn't complete tach hookup. Tan acc wire at key switch not used. Tan acc wire and brn/wht acc wire at engine not used.
Problem:
1. Engines crank, but no start.
2. Fuel to carbs ok, but don't seem to see fuel spray in carb durung crank.
3. Pulled plug wire and don't get spark when grounding spark cable.
4. Both replacement engines have same problem....Help?
