Re: no spark

we took it apart and brother in law says it wasnt bad?

I hope you replaced it anyway. Did all the vanes straighten out completely?
Is you BiL a boat mechanic and understand how the raw water pump works?
Also, make darned sure you put a new Quad ring between the upper and lower units when you put the drive back together, and put new gaskets on the pump housing.

Re: no spark

What else could cause my boat to overheat? I have replaced the water impeller and the water pump on motor.

Re: no spark

Why don't you start a new thread about "Engine Overheating" the title of your post is NO SPARK. Has nothing to do with your new problem.

Re: no spark

1. Start on the main page of each forum. Here is a link to this one.
http://forums.iboats.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=21

2, Look just above the first post in the list. On the left side of the screen. There is a button that looks like this
newthread.gif

3. Put your cursor on that button and click. (not the one above, the one on the main forum page.)

4. I'll leave what to do next up to you.
