With the key on, crank it from the solenoid. 12volts to yellow wire w/red tracer.

You are doing this with good ventilation, correct?


I don't understand, the yellow/red wire is for the starter solenoid, and has nothing to do with the ignition system.

Michel, you MUST follow the troubleshooting chart step by step if you ever expect to find the problem.
Print it out, go to the boat and start from the beginning as if you had never looked at the boat before and follow the chart. It's the only way to do it, jumping from one spot to another is only confusing the issue.

It cranks the engine Don. Without using the key.

I assume has followed the tree.

Found the problem, I decided to open the wire harness and found the gray wire that goes to the coil, broken, replaced it and its working fine now. Thanks
