You have not read followed and unerstood the troubleshooting test that has been sent to you by ML.
By the way, stop fuzzing around go and buy a new used coil from iboats member PurkaAamo (cheap)

Did the flywheel key make it back into place when you placed the flywheel back onto the engine?

There isn't any reason that that you would lose spark from taking the flywheel off and putting it back on again. It could just be fate, but here's the quick list of possibilites:
Blown fuse
Kill switch lanyard
Defective kill switch
Defective ignition switch
Loose or bad wire
Bad CD
Bad trigger(pulser) coil
Bad exicter coil
Bad ignition coil
If you managed to drop the flywheel there is a 1 out of 1000 chance you could have damaged the magnetic field...I've seen it twice in 40 years. But it's more likely that you blew the fuse or CD.
You need a manual for the test procedures for the ignition system. You can pick up an aftermarket one here on iboats or a factory original from any Nissan or Tohatsu dealer.
