Hey there new to these forums

i have a evinrude 55 HP outboard (not sure on year model) electric key start.
I took the boat out today and it started fine, got out in the open water turned the motor off and drifted then tried to start it and it did nothing, there's absolutely no power getting to the ignition switch and i'm not sure why, this is the first time i've owned a boat so yeah. there's power getting to the power tilt/trim and my switch box but just not the ignition, i manually started the engine by hand with the key to ON and it started, i seen if it would work turning the outboard off with the key and it switched off
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Mickey

Re: no power to ignition

near the starter solenoid is a small fuse holder, it is the inline fuse to the starting circuit.
