So here Iam again,my 2007 bay liner discovery 192 worked and stated fine all season, i hauled It home yesterday and pressure washed everything including in and around the engine bay which has a 3.0l merc today i went to start it and its got no power, everything else works and battery’s are ful charge, i checked the fuse and all are good there is a 50amp fuse on the centre of the engine with a button i did press that today figuring it had something to do with my tach as i was having trouble with it ereacticaly bouncing from 1000 to 7000 , anyhow there’s no power and no dash lights and no bussing with i turn the key to On position < i think i blew a fuse or something , but not sure and i want to go fishing tomorrow with u buddy !!! There’s gotta be a simple solution

that is a circuit breaker, not a fuse and that is what powers the engine and gauges and everything powered off the key switch.

Oh ok right on, what would cause that to trip ? Washing it ? Would that be the problem with my tach bouncing around like a wild man ?

Don’t know the answer to your specific question but note to self DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER to clean anything in the engine compartment! It forces water in places where it should not be! You might have to unplug wiring connectors & carefully dry everything out. You also don’t want water in the starter, alternator, distributor or carb/TBI if equipped.
The only thing to use a pressure washer on for boats is the bottom and (very carefully) outdrive keep the high pressure water away from any rubber parts.
