No power question

Hello my first post .well i took my boat out first time this year.to make shure things are running right for summer.boat turned on fine ,drove about 5 minutes.a quick lap then stopped kids wanted to do a little fishing.we were gonna move to another spot but boat did not want to turn on .no click when i turn the ignition no gauges moved nothing .No power, battery currently charging right now .what else should i look for if im still geting no power.My boat is a 85 beachcraft v-8 19' open bow.

To begin with, take a wire brush to the battery posts and terminals - get um nice and shiney. Do the same for the engines ground cable.
