No pee stream?

I have a 60hp 2-stroke, and it doesn't seem to be 'peeing' water. I am running it with a hose hookup... would it be a water pump issue? Are there things I can trouble shoot?

Thanks.

When was the last time the impellar was changed? If you can not answer that, you should get it done.

You can also run a piece of weedeater line up the hose to try and claer it.

It is not that hard to remove the hose and run air thru and rinse with water if there was a blockage. I found a spider web plus dirt blocking mine. good luck.

Joe, A telltale is not the only place water will be expelled from the motor. If you look on the lower unit, water will come out of the prop hub, the exhaust relief holes at the top of the midsection, and perhaps out of some gratings above the A-V plate. if you have water comming out of some of those places, the water pump is working (at least somewhat), and the telltale is clogged.
