There are no west marine stores in my area. So called around to all the local marine stores. Most of them thought i was crack. They never heard of those.I'm looking for those fillable caulk tubes. I need to put epoxy resin in some holes and where my transom wood lays against the bottom of the hull. My transom wood doesn't make full contact with the hull. And i thought that would work prety slick for doing the fillets.

I just used the Six10 thickened epoxy for my odds and ends. It's pre-mixes out of the nozzle. It seems to work pretty well as I've used it on some masonry work too.

I've heard of that as well. But no one stocks that either in my area. It seems all the marine stores in my area favor stocking polyster resin stuff

Gallon zip lock bag..... cut the corner open and use it the same way a baker does to ice a cake OR tractor supply sells huge syringes for horse medication and use one of those.

Ditto, practice a bit with the plastic bag before you start on the boat...it's a messy process, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

I love the gallon bags as well. I used them on my last project when I needed a nice even bead of thickened epoxy on the tops of the stringers to lay the floor into.

Do yourself a favor and use the heavy duty freezer bags- They are thicker... Just cut off the corner, and pretend that you are a pastry chef!

Check with a good paint store, I've seen caulk tubes being filled while I was having paint mixed. Another idea, if you don't want to spend all day looking or spending a bundle on some empty tubes. Buy a couple tubes of cheap water based caulk and clean them out.

I like the zip-lock (pastry bag) idea too, cheap and easy.

In all honesty, when working with thickened epoxy, I've found that the pastry bag/ziplock 'method' the the way to go. They are easier to deal with once you get the hang of it, and probably a lot cheaper- since you probably already have the bags around. They are a LOT easier to fill than the tubes, for sure!!
