Motor is 2007 4 stroke 9.9 Mercury. Model 1F10201FK Serial # 0R184309 . Ran perfectly the day prior. Next day engine started on the first pull, ran for a few seconds, died, would not restart. Check spark by watching plug gap while pulling starter rope. Top plug looked OK, bottom plug was hard to see, but it bit pretty good when I held onto it! Kinda' hard to do alone with a pull start. I'm getting fuel all the way to the carb. Removed carb, soaked it, blew it out. It was very clean inside. Float looked good, needle looked like it was moving freely. While I had the carb off I sprayed some fuel into the intake manifold, pulled the starter cord and it fired up and ran for a few seconds. Hmmm....fuel not going beyond carb? While the engine was running, fuel line showed fuel pump was steadily pushing fuel. Put everything back together....no start. Pulled the plugs and they were wet with gas. Why didn't it fire? What should I do next? Thanks
