No fire

I am trying to repair a 1974 100 HP Evinrude. What sort if signal should I be getting from the Ignition sensor under the flywheel? It is a 2 wire sensor, not points. I dont get any signal when cranking the engine over. no AC no DC using a FLUKE DVOM

I would like to try another type of ignition module too...GM maybe? any Ideas?

Thanks, I have tried some of the tests but I didn't have a air gap spec for the pickup....that will be next.
