NO FIRE

I have a 1995 120 sportjet whcih is a force powerhead that quit firing.Does anyone know how to check the ignition components such as switchbox, stator or any other applicable component, Thanks for your help.

Its a good idea to get yourself a Clymer Force repair manual if you are gonna delve into this motor.
It outlines the testing procedures real well.

You can test the stator for output, and resistance, same for the trigger. The switchbox is another easy test, but you need the manual.

Did you check the kill switch?

Thanks fo your help roscoe. i found the resistance readings for the stator and trigger on line and i will try to find a clymer book. kill switch test good. refreshed the top end droped it in the hole and it busted off one time then no fire. not very good engines from our experience. Thanks again
