NO FIRE ON PLUGS

JOE, ENGINE FIRED RIGHT UP AFTER I TOOK THE BLACK/ YELLOW WIRE LOOSE FROM SWITCH , WHAT IS THE TROUBLE . THANKS A MILLION IM GRATEFULL. iS THE SWITCH BAD OR WHAT.

Not necessarily.<br />The switch may be open to ground in the "OFF" position, (which would be broken)but I would highly suspect the lanyard (emergency cut-off)switch on or near the dash. Try pulling the wire from the underside of this lanyard switch, and hook the ignition switch back up. if ll werks ok, replace the lanyard switch.<br />If not, replace the ignition switch. but rest assured, you do have the ignition "KILL" wire there.

That would indicate the ignition switch is faulty. Personally, I'd replace it.
