Hi all, I recently used my boat and when I returned home, I noticed all cabin lights, arch lights, stereo, etc, was inoperable. Troubleshooting, I found 2 lugs in dash panel that feed buss bars. They are marked strb and port. There is no power on the strbd one. Port shows fine. I jumped a short fused jumper wire from the strbd to the port lug and all now works. Any idea where these get there power from? Engines crank and run fine, just no DC in cabin. I searched the forums and found nothing. 2005 Chaparral 270 cruiser, Volvo Penta 4.4 gxi. Thanks many for any help. William

Bump...here is the lugs in helm..strb side is dead...port side 12dc..I was thinking they went to battery switches as marked, removed battery switch panel to check. The strbd lug pictured was not on strbd batt switch, it was on the house battery switch 🤔 but marked with a strbd tag.. having no schematic, I was looking through some things DonS posted about wire colors in boats, and was able to identify problem. "Orange wire normally switched or fused"..my case it is switched and fused, just not on the strbd batt switch, as labeled..House battery switch lug loose... Thanks for the wire color chart Don...the orange wire was very evident at the house battery switch...led me right to it...👍
