Managed to find a brass hose barb tee today that I was able to thread and then tap the hole in the carb. Works great so far but that was only at idle in the driveway. At least I seem to have gotten the carbs back on the way they're supposed to be. Auto parts stores didn't have anything small enough. Found it at a specialty fluid fittings outfit. A 10-32 tap was a perfect fit for the hole in the carb so you can tell how small it is. Anyway, thanks for the help, hopefully the real test will be good tomorrow.
