Nissan 90 Alars and won't crank

I just purchased a pontoon boat with this outboard. It will crank a couple times, if it doesn't start right away it goes into alarm and locks out the start circuit. It is currently locked out and alarms as soon as I turn the key on and won't crank over. Thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

No clue. DL your owners manual from tohatsu.com. Alarms are on p62. Any flashing lights?

Thanks for the reply. It ended up being a failing starter. It would quit working after a few cranks and then alarm.
