Well, only one unbeaten team now. Kansas City Chiefs at 7-0. It was a good run for Peyton and the Broncos.

Hey Art - I'm still looking at the soles of your boots. Hoping to look you in the eyes. :D

Is tonight's game a barn burner or a ho-hum? Will the Giants break into the win column? Stay tuned!

Actually, since both teams....., well you know, it might be a great game...... I'm curious to see what Freeman brings to the field....

Same here.

I think that since both teams are going to be so desperate to get either a first or second win, the game should have it's moments.:cheer2:

Everyone is wondering about Freeman. He hasn't had much time to feel out the system. But we'll know later tonight!!!

In the case of tonight's game, may the worst team not win. Yup, still took the NYG. Breaking my heart like a middle school flame.

This is interesting. Only Lipp picked the Vikes. I hope his finger slipped during the picking. Or did he make a wise choice?

Good opening series for the Giants. Their longest opening series in 19 years, I think they said. Petered out at the end and Brown got his first FG in 4 games. Lets see Mr. Freeman.

The play of the game was Eli's first sack. When Vike Allen reached under Eli's protection behind him and grabbed his jersey. Manning could not get away and then was sacked. It was good for a chuckle.

IT'S OVER. Giants win, not much more to say except only Jax is 0fer now. And Fish is this weeks leader with 11, followed by 12v and I with 10. Go get 'em, Fish. :D

BTW - Fish and I are still bringing up the rear. :blue:

Hearing Gruden talk incessantly about Freeman not knowing the plays, not being able to change anything, over throwing players, etc. It was a brutal performance.

Hearing Gruden talk incessantly is brutal. I actually find Berman slightly less annoying.

Yep, Bassman, I was meaning that on BOTH levels ... hearing Gruden AND watching Freeman. What, 23% of his passes were overthrown and he completed 20 in 53 attempts! Coach Frazier said he considered taking him out, but the score was too close???? Because the score was close is why you take him out ... if they did ANYTHING offensively they could have won! But it wasn't going to happen with a Freeman that didn't know the offense or the receivers.

Hearing Gruden talk:eek::eek: is brutal, incessantly or not.

Why does MNF always have annoying people on the crew? It started with Cosell, then over the years, Theismann, Miller (great comic, football - not so much), now Gruden. Theismann and Gruden are tied for most annoying. No, Gruden is the worst. The best, without a doubt - John Madden.

Freeman was thrown into the fire. Look how long it has taken RG to get back into his timing back from last year. Probably unfair to start him so fast.
