Re: NFL Week 2

I was not impressed with the Saints last night. If they want to do a "two-dat," they need to step it up.

Bad news about Reggie Bush too - it appears that he broke his leg.

The good news is Garret Hartley. He reminds me very much of Morton Anderson, who put up a lot of points for the Saints, "back in the day." The kid has a leg and has been every bit as much of the Saints recent success, as the stars of the offense and defense.

Who Dat!

Re: NFL Week 2

My Bears got there first win to move to 2-0.

Detroit looks good even though they are win less. Putting up some points and haven't been out classed yet. Wouldn't have taken much for Detroit to be 2-0 right now.

Vikings are WAYYY to talented to be 0-2.

Green Bay looks good.

Dare I say that the NFC north is the toughest division in the NFL right now.

Bear fan here as well so the Vikings misfortunes don't hurt me as much as some others.

I read something somewhere that Favre said it would take awhile for him to gel with his receivers. Maybe if he'd shown up for camp and preseason they could have got the gelling out of the way.

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooo BEARS!

If the Vikes start out 0-4, Favre will be done. They'll find some medical excuse why he shouldn't play. The footage of him arriving at the stadium looked like he was going for a root canal, not to play ball.
Gelling with what receivers?? None, unless they pick up some talent. If Peterson goes down and they haven't picked up any talented receivers, they're done. (Not that I mind!)

The Pack game will be a big test for the Bears. Problem is, our run defense is awesome, but their running game sucks without Grant; our pass defense is subpar, and their passing game is great. I hear Peppers has several 'meetings' scheduled with Rodgers in the backfield!!
Should be a great game!
