I was at the Green Bay game today, every time they announced Bret threw an interception or fumble the place erupted with cheers. I don't think there is any animosity there at all. I just cannot believe the Bears beat the cowboys!!! What the heck is going on down in Dallas? Tampa Bay did well today as well. oh yeah... did I say...GO PACK GO?

Unrelated, but my Aunt Olivia just called and said she has two open seats for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Re: NFL Week 2

Definitely a crazy week filled with a multitude of turnovers. Was it from the heat and sweaty hands, did they change the football, was it outstanding defensive play, lousy offensive play, or a combination of the above???? Who would have thunk the Steelers and the Bears would be 2-0 and the 'boys would be 0-2????

A stressfull day in the jungle, it looked like d'oh and 2 for ever, a deep sigh and its safe to say it....1-1 for the who-dey nation.

Second note, it has been a difficult season for picks, a lot of upsets and underdogs.

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!
Made two commercial fishing trips Sunday 0500-1300 fluke fishing and 1400-1900 blackfishing. Raced home to catch the Giant game. Had the DVR going and passed out in the first qtr. Did the same fishing today. Heard all the talk on the radio how bad the Giants did. Gonna peruse the game on fast forward tonite. Very fast forward!!! or maybe I'll erase it like it never happened and pass out again!

Angus, I know how much of a Giants fan you are, so trust me, you want the sleep over fast forwarding through the game ... for the Giants it wasn't pretty, and there wasn't much to hang your hat on. Just a royal manhandling. So erase it like it never happened and live to smile again! ;)

My Bears got there first win to move to 2-0.

Detroit looks good even though they are win less. Putting up some points and haven't been out classed yet. Wouldn't have taken much for Detroit to be 2-0 right now.

Vikings are WAYYY to talented to be 0-2.

Green Bay looks good.

Dare I say that the NFC north is the toughest division in the NFL right now.

Shhh agreed, but I don't want to be chasing mirages this early :D
actually been a whole lot easier watching them this year, at least they're playing.

Yep, gonna look forward to the packers/lions games this year, could be fun.

Detroit may finally be turning the corner.

I know how the fans must feel. We packer fans suffered from '75-'95.

Wouldn't that be something if the nfc north all went 3 and 3 within the division. Will be fun games to watch, starting this week.

Yeah, as a Bears fan I had to suffer through the 90's. To make things worse I live in the Buffalo Bills territory. It's been a while since they have done anything as well. But without a doubt Browns, and Lions fans have had the most disappointment for the longest time.
