Just got home. I rushed my picks without thinking before I took off for the hills and it is now my newest strategy!!! : )
I saw alot of deer but not one with a big antenna. We have a six point minimum now in our county. I shook hands with a dozen four pointers. Listened to the Giant game in the car and sounded good to me. Gotta run to school to give a final this afternoon. Giants-Dallas on Sunday is gonna be a fun watch!!

Huh. Turns out the refs destroyed it. Cannot believe how bad that call was. Or rather, reversal of call.

I just looked at the video. No way Gronk would ever catch that ball and that is why it was reversed.

I stayed up for the game . . .

although the Pats deserved to lose based on the way they played throughout the game, the ref's clearly held the game in their hands with the ensuing discussion after the flag was thrown in the endzone. I guess they felt Carolina deserved to win

I agree, but how many times have they thrown the flag on the other side of the field from were the pass was thrown and called pass interference. I wonder if a statement will be made before the next game.

I see bassman wasn't happy, I bet he picked NE. I picked Carolina...

I just watched the vid where the VP of officiating explained why the flag was picked up. The "judgement" call was the guy intercepted the ball at the same time the interference occurred which negates the penalty. The call is not reviewable. And at full speed they basically said it was simultaneous.

Gronk was almost exactly in the position where the pass ended up when the defender grabbed him and dragged him out the back of the end zone.

Gronk was almost exactly in the position where the pass ended up when the defender grabbed him and dragged him out the back of the end zone.

He was near the back of the "O" and the interception was near the other side of the "O". If you click on my link they now have the NFL vice president of officiating commenting . Based on what the guy on there says, although he doesn't come out and say it really, I would say it was probably pass interference.
