The Ravens, despite playing terribly, made it past the Browns, shew! Bring on the Colts next week, so Stover can show us why we should have kept him.

Re: NFL Week 10

I think Brian Belichick did the right thing going for it on 4th down and 2 yards to go. His defense died at the end and Payton was marching down the field in less then two minutes to score a touchdown. A different spot from the refs and New England would have taken the knee and won.

Vikings had too much time off and sure looked rusty. Way too many penelties. Next two are at home against bad teams. If they win those two they should have the division clinched.

That had to be the dumbest decision making by a coach to date. Regardless how your defense is playing, you can't take a chance losing the ball deep in your own territory. As soon as they didn't make it on 4th down, I went to bed. I knew what the outcome was going to be and didn't need to see it. NE should have never been in that position to begin with. They let the Colts back in the game. It was NE's game to lose, and, well.........

Vikes are still on a roll.....:)

Common? Realistically, do you really want to see what would actually happens or would you rather just gracefully accept defeat? :D
Remember the last 2 arse whooping? 2007: 44 - 20; 2008: 31 - 3.

Remember you guys being in the AFC championship game last year...oh wait, you don't because WE were there hahahaha.

Guess Vegas knows something we don't know, as the Ravens are only a 1 point dog here at home.

First of all Skargo, you don't actually play for the Ravens, so stop saying "WE", okay?

I remember who the other team in the AFC Championship games was, too. And the team that won the Super Bowl. ;)

As far as the Ravens, you gotta love Michael Oher ... I want to see the movie "The Blind Side." He has a great story ... release date is Friday, I believe.

Oh common, that's weak. What does that have to do with anything? The Ravens didn't played the Colts to get to the AFC title game and the Ravens didn't win the AFC title game. Matter of fact, if the Colts played the Ravens instead of the Steelers, it would have been Colts-Steelers.

The previous two possessions by the Colts led to touchdowns and both were under 2 minutes. Give Manning 20 yards or 80 yards with 2 minutes left and you will probably loose. If you look at the replay NE had the first down but the receiver bobbled the ball briefly when being hit and when he did have possession he lost the first down. If that first down would have happened it would have been game over. Regardless of the decision Brian Belichick made I think they would have lost anyways.

Re: NFL Week 10

I still say you give your defense a chance to step up. Punt the ball and make the Colts go 80 yards or whatever. At least they'd have to work for it. Go on 4th down and not get it, deep in your own territory, you just sealed your fate. Game over... They still might have lost regardless(I guess we'll never know), but at least it would have been tougher to find the endzone had NE punted... As far as "if" this would have happened, or, "if" that would have happened doesn't matter. All that matters is, it "didn't" happen....

I thought they all ready had their bye week!!:D:D

A quick snipit from NFL.com

The Detroit Lions have allowed more points than any other team this season after nearly setting a modern era record for defensive ineptitude during their winless 2008.

Keeping the Cleveland Browns out of the end zone hasn't been much of a challenge for anyone.

The Browns are threatening to set a new mark for offensive futility after a prime-time shutout loss, and the Lions will try to become the latest defense to take advantage Sunday at Ford Field in a matchup of one-win cellar dwellers.

Detroit (1-8) surrendered an average of 32.3 points during its 0-16 season, one point per game fewer than the 1981 Baltimore Colts for the Super Bowl era record for defensive incompetence.

The Lions are again on pace to allow the most points in the NFL, yielding 29.3 per game after a 27-10 loss to Minnesota last Sunday, but their defensive assignment this week is far easier.

Cleveland (1-8) has scored five offensive touchdowns this season after failing to find the end zone in its final six games of 2008. The Browns wasted a solid effort from their own much-maligned defense in a 16-0 loss to Baltimore on Monday night.
