What a brawl! The broken nose improved Ben's looks (according to Hines Ward) and took away the foot pain! Hard hitting game. Loved the ending.

Die hard Steelers fan here because of games like this year after year. Man Big Ben, what a great player and play maker he can be. Playing through all the mess and injuries of the year. I agree what a great ending.

Horrible officiating. So obvious the NFL and that crew are against the Steelers & James Harrison. But as a good team can do, they overcame all that and won the game!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steelers' coach is unflappable. Never once did he lose his cool or change from his stern, determined demeanor. Very impressive.

I'll agree 100%. Typical Steeler's coach. Wise beyond his years. When they hired him, I thought, "who is this guy?" But then I stepped back and thought, "well, I said the same thing when they hired Coach Cowher, and people must have thought that when they hired Coach Noll. Let's keep the faith in my team's ownership and give this guy a chance." One Super Bowl win, and seasons like this later, proves Coach Tomlin knows what he's doing.

As a devout Ravens fan and Steelers hater, I must say Big Ben, no matter what you say about him is a TOUGH SOB.
Suggs had an incredible game, and Ben held him off with one arm while he flipped the ball away to avoid a sack.

I think both teams played super hard, but last night, the better team won.:(

I have a feeling we will meet again...

Gotta agree.

Just heard the fines issued ... $15,000 for the "hands to the face" non-call that resulted in a broken nose and $40,000 for the illegal hit that lead to a concussion. Man, the league HATES Pittsburgh, 'cuz if that was Harrison or any other Steeler making the hit it would have been $70,000 or more!

I was surprised to not see any laundry thrown on either call. Ngata seldom gets penalized, he's a very clean player, but he basically punched Big Ben in the face.
The hit by Mclean on Miller, while definitely illegal, didn't appear to be with malice, I doubt he could have changed direction in mid air.
Harrison has never had a $70K fine, in fact, most are the $20-$25K variety, so that $40K fine on McLean was huge!

The fines are UNWARRANTED. (And the NFLPA should be filing greivances on ALL of them) Just call the penalties!

Again, I agree with most here, Scott. McLean could not have changed direction, and I DON'T like the fines at all!

I do disagree with the amount of Harrison's fines ...

Harrison was previously fined for helmet hits on Cleveland wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi ($75,000) and New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees ($20,000) as well as a $5,000 roughing penalty on Tennessee quarterback Vince Young. Harrison received notification Monday that his appeal of those fines was rejected, the Post-Gazette reported.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Harrison was fined another $25,000 Tuesday for a helmet-leading strike on Buffalo quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in last Sunday?s 19-16 overtime win over the Bills. That raises Harrison?s 2010 fine total to $125,000 for four hit-related infractions.
