well got the bug again!traded my old aluminum boat for a giesler cedarstrip boat and a 15 hp evinrude of 1976 vintage (MOTOR THAT IS) should be a interesting project.always loved wood boats and now i have my 3rd but only one for now.should take the winter to completely redo the beast.needs new top rails and spray rail on right side and a good sanding and varnishing.at the same time im going to restore a 1956 30 hp johnson to hang on the back .should kill the winter,lol.

me too!you cant beat the ride of a well designed wood boat or the looks .mine, i got a way to go ,but when its done you will be able to see your reflection in the hull a mile away,i hope,lol.the only reason its that dark is from 50 years of sun.
