I didn't noticed the width size too. My beam is 102". Most trailers are 8' wide or more for a sport type boat. Unless you go with a different storage option you are going to be very limited.

The cost for outdoor storage is high, plus its a yearly expense. Pay to enlarge your garage door once and you'll have more choices. Besides, the benefits of inddor storage are priceless.

If a bigger door isn't an option, buy a 16' aluminum tiller outboard.

The Legend I posted a picture of is 15.5 ft . That is pretty much maxed out in that style of boat that would fit through the door . It will fit but you would have to be on your" A" game on backing it in .

As mentioned above, width is your issue. My axle is 82 inches wide and that doesn't include the tires or fenders. The newer trailer where the boat sits lower are even wider. I'm pretty sure the trailer under my dad's 16' aluminum tiller boat wouldn't even fit. My door is 7' high and if I put the windshield on my 19' Sylvan it wont fit by about 2".

My advice: Run cable TV to the garage and buy a small refrigerator and a nice air mattress. Get a couple beers and a sawzall. Wait til your wife will be gone for a couple days and go to work.....and remember the famous line: "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission".

I know it sucks!
How about Stingray 195 LR?

will it fit?

I am 100% certain it wouldn't fit. I have a 195CX, so same hull and windshield height, and mine clears a 7 foot garage door by 2 inches at best... On the factory sourced Phoenix trailer.

Everybody has talked about height and width, but just don't do what my neighbor did. He was watching for the garage door height and sides of the trailer and boat and backed the O/B engine through the wall into his house... So he could literally remove the prop inside the house if he wanted too... But the garage door closed!

I don't think you are making a very smart decision when you let your garage dictate so much about your boat. Garage storage is just one of the "things on the list' to evaluate when deciding what to buy, but it shouldn't be the most important.

For some of us it is a major consideration. When looking for the boat I just bought, one of the main requirements was that it fit in my garage and with an optional bar for the tower it will.

I looked into storage and its $180 per month for up to 25'.
that is more than what I'm willing to pay and it's outdoor too!

Just measured one of my  projects .. This boat and trailer will fit in your garage doorway . 4" to spare on the width and 12" to spare on the height .
Wanna buy it ! Only needs a little TLC !

can you message me more info?

A Tahoe fits through a garage door that is 6.8 ft wide and 6 ft high?!

My 19' Tahoe is by no means big, but no way it would fit through that. It needs a 9' wide door and is easily 7' tall. I agree with the other posters, find a boat that fits your needs then find a place to store it. Covered outdoor storage around here runs about $50/mo, and a small storage unit is $100/mo and up. If you don't want covered, there are storage facilities that rent parking spots for around $25/mo for a small boat.

lol I said chevy tahoe (SUV)

You can't put 6'1" in a 6' space. Plus it is over 8' wide.

well, you sort of can! The high point is the windshield, and I'm assuming they took that measurement with the trailer level. Dropping the trailer jack as low as possible will easily lower the windshield more than 1 inch, so it would fit in that dimension.

But... Again, there is no class of boat except a small aluminum jon boat that will fit in something 6.8 feet wide. This boat is WAY wider than that!

I'm thinking the Tahoe would not fit through a 6' tall garage door either. My Avalanche is almost the same vehicle, maybe shorter if anything, and it is well over 6 feet tall. My truck barley fits in my standard height garage entrance. What are we missing here?
And for what it;s worth my run about type boats are too tall even with my standard height door. Only one of my 2 boats will fit in my garage door (both have windshields). Maybe remeasure and let's hope you meant 7 foot opening??

Just going from memory, I think the highest point on my Tahoe (the boat) is lower than the roof on my F150 4x4. It's a pretty low slung boat though.
