I think I'd start my offer with them giving you $5000 boot money and try to end up even money... might not work but dang, your truck is 2 oil changes from new..... It would be REAL easy for them to sell.

Of course I have been known to REALLY **** off a car dealer a time or two

The wonderful thing is knowing that I literally can wait for a LONG time before buying the upgraded truck - I don't even have the replacement boat yet, no plans yet to get it, and am perfectly happy waiting. If I can get a killer deal (this particular truck has been sitting on the lot for at least 6 months, and was originally listed at $31k) I will take it, but I can honestly and with a smile on my face say to the salesperson, "Sorry we couldn't make a deal - but there are millions of Ford trucks out there and I'm sure I can eventually find another one that suits my needs at a proper price."

I wish I bought the truck before the boat. If I knew I could pull the 28 then i would have gotten the 28 instead of the 25

Man wish we live near each other so we can do a group buy or something. I'm thinking about getting a new 250/350 too, but diesel.

Yeah for real smokeonthewater. When I looked at my boat I really wanted the 28 but I knew that my 1500 would not do it. If I knew that my 1500 would not do the 25 then I would have gone all out. With that said I will never go back to a 1500 after having the 2500. Its night and day.
