newbie, merc 60 value

I've had a merc 60 in my shed for two years now, it came with a small 12' semi v i bought. I don't ever plan on using the motor, where I fish, its electric only. I just put some gas in it and it fired right up. I'm sure it could use a tune-up. My question is, what is it worth? I'm going to sell it, but I don't want to give it away. It seems to be in fair shape.

in order to tell the value of a motor, the year it was made is helpful. I am looking to sell my Ford, what do you think its worth?
Rule of thumb here in ontario canada, is, $100.00 per Hp on a new motor. used would depend on age, use, condition. If it looks good and runs good, and isnt 40 years old you probably have a $1300.00+ motor, canadian.
