i nknow this sound dumb but o/b have air filters or am i crazy 1988 force 85 have not seen anything in any manual about air filters. or do they even make them

I am not sure I have a 1986 50 hp force and it don't have one neither

I never saw an outboard with an air filter.

It sound kinda smart alecky to say that there isn't a dust problem out on the lake, but it is true!

Nope -- no air filters and one is not needed. They do have an air intake silencer however.

Surprised me years ago when I found out they did not use them and still does.
