New to site and boating. Need 411 on throttle control.

Hello everyone,
I recently bought my first boat and working on a 1980 Wellcraft Sun Hatch as a starter boat. I wanted to replace the throttle and control cables for it. Any idea what throttle and cables to replace it with?

Your're right again, Roscoe. Trapped by looking at one thread and replying in another. Multitasking can be a curse.

Thank you for taking the time and day to answer questions. The control it has now is the original single lever one that came with the boat. And the engine is also the original engine which is a Volvo Penta AQ115. Everything on the boat is pretty much original besides the oils filters and gas of course.

VP AQ series I/O's use the type 33 cables. you will need to know your lengths. usually hot-stamped on the ends of the cables. or pull the cables out and measure.
