I just bought a "85" 70 HP Evinrude and have no previous experience with oil injected engines. I'm wondering how much oil( per say 5 gals of gas) I can expect such a system to use. Do they use as much as a premix system and how do you monitor that the system is working? I'm used to mixing 24:1 which is a quart per 6 gals. I ran a tank of fuel full through this motor and the oil tank looks nearly as full as when I started.
